The Story

This house didn’t just appear overnight.

The story behind 50 Prospect Avenue isn’t as simple as some developer getting a great deal on a vacant piece of land and plopping a new home on it. 

In 2023, we were approached about a particularly difficult property that needed to be sold - a condemned cottage on an acre of land in Jamestown that was heavily deed restricted; the list of people who COULDN'T buy it was longer than those who could - no Jamestown residents (or relatives), no one who owned a company with heavy machinery, had to be someone horticulturally inclined, a representative from PETA had to sign off on the sale - and the property could not be publicly listed or advertised. We had to find a true unicorn of a buyer that would qualify to purchase this property and transform it. 

Which is when we found Ben. And what happened next took patience, a vision, and many months (even years) of thoughtful planning. From digging up hundreds of giant boulders during the site work, to designing the perfect floorplan to entertain family and friends, every facet of this home was given the utmost care and thought. 

A home was built from disaster, and no step was overlooked. It was created for you to love for many more years to come.
